Switching on the machine
The machine’s polarized plug should be connected with a polarized current source and then press switch (A) and (I) for power and light.
All about Pressure foot
The pressure foot can be adjusted accordingly, depending upon the type of the fabric dealt. It can be raised for stitching several layers of cloth and lowered for the lightweight kind of clothes. The pressure of the foot can be adjusted with a coin by turning the pressure screw. The screw can be turned clockwise for tightening to deal denser fabrics and loosened by turning anti-clockwise for lightweight fabric. However, the need for adjusting the pressure isn’t necessary for the machine and can be done when required. The pre-set pressure will work without adjusting for all kinds of fabric, causing no glitches.
Dealing with the bobbins
Winding the bobbin
Place the thread onto the spool pin followed by snapping into the thread guide, following the thread should be attached around the bobbin in a clockwise manner. Place it on the spindle. Push the bobbin spindle towards the right and hold the thread away. Step on the foot pedal to start winding. Once done, cut the thread and push the spindle towards the left and later remove the bobbin.
Threading
Insert the bobbin into the case with the thread pointing counterclockwise. Pull the thread through the slot until it slides through the notch. Pull out a little more and then attach the bobbin cover plate to close the bobbin case with the thread lying out . Then start threading Throughout the threading, make sure that the needle of the machine is in a lifted manner. Now, turn the handwheel in a clockwise manner to descend the thread a little distance,
meanwhile raise the pressure foot to release the disc tensions. Lift the spool pin and place the thread spool in the holder and draw the thread through the guide and pull it through the tensions. Lead the thread down through the channel and then up the left channel. Pass the thread through the slotted aye towards down. Thread tensions
To increase or decrease the thread tensions, you may need to turn the thread tension dial. To increase the pressure, turn towards the next number up and to reduce vice versa. For regular sewing, the thread tensions can be kept to a reasonable level. For making the tensions too tight, turn the dial to a lower number. For decorative stitches, keep the thread tension in such a way that a little part of the upper thread is visible in the downside. For lower thread, it is not required to adjust the thread tensions.
Pattern Selection

Hemming
For hem type stitches, set the stitch width dial required for the fabric based on the material that is to be stitched. For lighter materials, the width required is set small and for a denser higher value. Blind hems usually are longer stitches, so turn the dial to select a longer stitch length. Turn up the hem and press. Fold the fabric back towards the right with the top edge of the hem extending about a few millimeters to the right of the folded fabric. Sew on the folds making sure that the needle touches the top and catch the adjacent thread on the fabric. Once hemming is done, unfold the fabric to see the magic of the machine. Hemming can be done for curtains, trousers, and skirts and should be done with care.
Sewing button and buttonhole
Change the foot to button sewing foot and set the stitch length at zero. Set the machine for Zig-Zag stitching to the required width. Make sure that the needle goes into the hole properly and slides in through the left and right holes of the button. Adjust the stitch width and slowly sew in the buttons with about 8 to 9 stitches. For buttons with four holes, sew through the front holes initially later push the fabric and sew through the hole that is on the left.
To sew buttonholes for shirts and other fabric, you need to fix, and all-purpose foot are removing the button sewing foot. Adjust the stitch length dial with the dialer and adjust the width of the stitches and start stitching. Change from one step to another with the pattern
selector. Use the ripper and cut the hole once the stitching is done entirely on the ends of the hole. The upper tension of the machine is advised to keep low, and you may also use a stabilizer for stretchy fabrics.
Balance control with dials

To avoid the stitches on the left being too close, turn the dial towards the left, which makes the stitches open and the same towards the right for opening the right side stitches.

Attaching needle in the machine

Changing bulb

Feed dog
