The Vaseline acts as a layer of protection that allows you to store the egg within the carton for at least one week without decaying. Boiling the egg 

The next step is to boil the egg for 10 seconds. In this technique, the eggs should be boiled for at least 10 seconds to increase the thickness of the external layer.
