First Method:
Things you will need:
- Aluminum foil
- A bowl
- Detergent powder
- Hot water
- A spoon
- Tissue paper
The Method:
- Take a small bowl and cover it with aluminum foil.
- Add some detergent powder to it and bring some water to a boil.
- Pour the hot water into the bowl.
- Start mixing the detergent powder with the help of a spoon.
- Place your silver jewelry into that mixture and leave for five to ten minutes.
- With the help of that spoon, take the jewelry out of the bowl.
- Wipe off excess water with the help of tissue paper.
Second Method:
Things you require:
- Ceramic container
- Baking soda
- Aluminum foil
- Tong
- Tissue paper
The Method:
- Take a ceramic container because the metal container can react with baking soda.
- Fold the container with aluminum foil.
- Add one to four tablespoons of baking soda, depending on the number of jewelry.
- Pour the hot water into the container.
- Place the jewelry inside that container. If your jewelry has any stone in it, then avoid this process.
- Leave it for about ten minutes.
- Take it out with the help of the spoon and let it cool down.
- Use tissue paper to soak excess water.
Third Method:
Things you need:
- Cornflour
- Water
- Tissue paper
- A bowl
- A spoon
The Method:
- Grab a bowl and add one to two tablespoons of cornflour to it.
- Pour some water into the bowl.
- With the help of the spoon, start mixing them well and make a thick paste.
- Now apply the mixture on the surface of that jewelry with your fingers and let it dry.
- When the mixture is dried off completely, take tissue paper and soak it in water.
- Rub the surface of the jewelry with tissue paper, and it will bring back the natural luster of the silver jewelry.
Fourth Method:
Things you need:
- A toothpaste
- Cloth
- water
The Method:
- Take the silver jewelry and apply some toothpaste to it.
- Grab a piece of cloth and start to rub the surface
- Apply the paste all over it and leave it for five minutes.
- Take a moist cloth and wipe it off.
- Rinse with plain water to ensure that the jewelry is cleaned properly.
Fifth Method:
You will need:
- Lemon
- Baking soda
- Tissue paper
- A bowl
- A spoon
The Method:
- Take a container and pour some baking soda into it.
- Cut a lemon and take out the juice.
- Mix the ingredients and make a paste with the help of a spoon.
- Apply the mixture on the surface of that jewelry and let it rest for an hour.
- After one hour, take a damp tissue paper and start rubbing the mixture off its surface.
- Clean it off with damp tissue paper.
- Rinse with water and let it dry.
Sixth Method:
Things that are needed:
- White vinegar
- A container
- Baking soda
- Tissue paper
The Method:
- Add four tablespoons of baking soda into a clean container.
- Pour 1 cup or 150 ml of white vinegar into it.
- Mix the two ingredients well and make a thick paste.
- Now, apply the mixture to the silver jewelry and let it rest for one hour.
- Take a damp tissue paper and wipe off the mixture.
- Rinse with water to make sure that it is clean.
Seventh Method:
To follow this step, you will need only two main ingredients. They are:
- Baking soda
- Water
- A container
- A piece of cloth
The Method:
- Grab a container and add two tablespoons of baking soda to it.
- Add some water and make a paste that will work as a cleaning agent.
- Apply a thick layer of paste on the jewelry and leave it for five minutes.
- Take a wet cloth and start rubbing the surface of the jewelry.
- Rinse with plain water to clean it properly.
