To Remove documents, press command F on your laptop and search for “This Mac”. In the search box, type the file extensions you want to delete like .pdf, .jpg, and .docx etc. Review the documents and delete the unnecessary files.

Cleaning the hidden files: Sometimes, there are some hidden files in our system that we cannot find very easily. To search them, download an application that searches hidden files. Start the scanning process, and you will find all those hidden files. Review them and delete the unnecessary items. It will significantly increase the storage space.

Cleaning others: Search the system and find out the temporary files occupying space in your disc. Be careful. Do not delete any system file, as this can ruin your operating system. However, Apple operating system does not allow anyone to clean their system files very easily. But it is better to be careful in case you end up deleting an important file.


Cleaning junk from the library: Many junk files can occupy space in the disc, and you should clean them often. To clean the junk files, search for System Junks. Then, click the scan button and let the scanning process begin. Once the operating system has found the junk files, you can click the clean button, and this is how you can remove the junk files.

Clear cache files: To clean the cache files, you have to search for library cache and search for the cache folder in your system. Drag the files to the trash folder and empty the trach. It is the easiest way to get rid of those cache files.

Remove the extension files: Removing extension files from your system can make your operating system fast. To do that, go to the Safari menu by opening the Safari browser and select the extension files that you want to remove by typing them in the extension tab. Then, click the ‘uninstall’ button to remove the extension from your Mac system. If you use other browsers like Chrome and Firefox, delete or disable the extensions from the extension tabs.

Remove application log and support files: Delete all the application log and support files from your system to make the Mac OS faster. Also, check the other files and folders if something unnecessary is still occupying space in the disc. Then, delete them. If you do not know how to remove plugins, then do not remove them. If you still want to do it, try disabling them instead.
