Everyone wants to have healthy skin. But often, we make a blunder that severely damages our skin. It is our responsibility to keep our skin healthy and as clean as possible. The secret of glowing skin is to have a clean face. If your face is clean, all the products you apply will penetrate your skin, and you can get the best out of your skincare products.
In this blog, I will share a few tips that will change your skincare game. As a result, you will be left with soft, smooth, clear, and healthy-looking skin.

Daily Skincare:
Wash your face: The first important step that you have to follow is washing your face. I am not asking you to wash your face every single hour. But make sure that you wash your face at least twice a day. You should wash your face once in the morning and once before you go to sleep. If you go outside or travel a lot, you should wash your face just after returning home. Your skin will get rid of every single dirt and pollution.
Choose a cleanser: you should always opt for a cleanser based on the texture of your skin. Always try to use a mild cleanser for daily use. If you have oily skin, then go for a water-based cleanser. If your skin is sensitive, go for baby products, and if dry, go for an oil-based face cleanser. If you have combination skin, consider using two facewash types, one for the dry area and another for the T zone.
Acne treatment: If you suffer from severe acne, consider using an acne-fighting agent. You can opt for salicylic acid. It kills the germs causing acne. Remember not to touch your face repeatedly, especially without washing your hands properly. There are millions of germs on your finger. Do not transfer them to your skin.
Toner: Most of us skip this step. But this plays a vital role in our skincare, and it alone can change the entire skincare game. Toner balances the ph level of your skin. After washing your face, your skin loses its natural oil and becomes dry. So, it is very necessary to maintain the natural ph level by using an additional skin-care product. Toner restores that natural moisture of our skin.
Serum: Serums are packed with vital nutrients and minerals that your skin needs daily. Check the ingredients before buying a serum and do a patch test before applying it to your face. Serum goes deeper into the skin and repairs the skin from within.
Under-eye cream: Most of us do not use eye cream. But the skin around our eyes is the most delicate. Also, with the aging process, wrinkles start to appear under our eyes. That is why we need to take good care of our under-eye areas by applying under-eye cream.
Moisturizer: This is the last and the most important step. Do not forget to apply a good-quality moisturizer. We should buy good quality skin-care products because they will come in close contact with our skin. Choose a moisturizer based on your skin type. For example, if you have oily and acne-prone skin, use a water-based moisturizer. If your skin gets dry, consider using a heavy and oil-based moisturizer.
Weekly Skincare:
Exfoliate: Consider using mild exfoliants once a week. Make sure that the granules are not too harsh for your skin. Scrubbing will help you to get rid of all the dead skin cells and revive your skin. If you do not want to use a face scrub, opt for chemical exfoliants like AHA, BHA, or chemical peeling solutions.
Face mask: Apply a thick layer of face mask that will refresh and replenish your skin. You can make homemade face masks with gram flour, curd, turmeric, and milk. If you are running late, buy a sheet mask. They are infused with serums.

Do not touch: Do not touch your face unnecessarily to avoid fungal acne or skin irritation.
Cut down sugar: Sugar is not good for our skin. The more sugar you intake, the more damaged your skin gets. So, start having your favorite smoothies without those extra carbs.
Choose make-up wisely: Try not to use make-up regularly. Make-up products can clog the pores of your skin and cause serious problems.
Most importantly, maintain a healthy diet, drink a lot of water and maintain a proper sleep cycle. As a result, you will wake up each day with even more beautiful skin.
